KESIMPULAN Kesenjangan sosial adalah suatu keadaan ketidak seimbangan sosial yang ada di masyarakat yang menjadikan suatu perbedaan yang sangat mencolok.   Dalam hal ini kesenjangan sosila menjadi maslah   yang komplek yang harus bisa diselesaikan oleh oleh setiap Negara, Negara memiliki peranan penting dalam penyelesaian masalah kesenjangan sosial yang ada di masyarakat, karena pemerintah telah diamantkan oleh undang undang 1945 yang mengamanatkan agar memajukan kesejahteraan umum dan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Untuk itu pemerintah harus bisa memberikan solusi yang terbaik bagi masyrakatnya, agar kesenjangan sosila bisa terselesaikan, sehingga kehidupan masyarakat hidup lebih sejahtera. Kemiskinan dalam pengertian konvensional merupakan pendapatan (income) dari suatu kelompok masyarakat yang berada dibawah garis kemiskinan.
